1) Jason and I are both still working for the same companies. Jason got a promotion and is super busy and important (at least that is how I perceive it) and I am still reviewing documents with my super awesome work crew.
2) This year we celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary!! We spent that night at the Admiral Bicknell Inn in New Albany and had a wonderful dinner at the River City Winery. Despite only going to New Albany we felt we were on vacation because it was so hard to get there now that the Sherman Minton bridge is closed indefinitely for structural repairs.
3) Our cats are doing as well as possible considering that they are all aging. We put them all on a strict diet since Cammy wasn't losing weight on a free feed of diet cat food and she has officially dropped 1.5 pounds and is now only 18.5 pounds. Mr. Bigg on the other hand started to wither away to nothing. He dropped to 13 pounds very quickly and it was not because of the diet but because he has developed diabetes in his old age. After diagnosis we are giving him 2 insulin injections a day and feeding him special food to help regulate his diabetes. So far he seems to be improving but it is a hit and miss type thing with the treatment while we try to discover his "sweet spot" for perfect cat blood sugar.
4) We are still the proud owners of the same fish. He continues to plug along each day and he survived a case of hole in the head disease (seriously he had a hole in his head). At this time his is officially 3 year old and very hearty and quite large. Since I am still convinced he killed his siblings I refuse to get him a fellow tank mate so he continues to live in solitude.
5) We still LOVE our house. This year we got all new windows and are debating what project to take on next. I am thinking flooring but we also have an unfinished basement that is begging to be Jason's man cave.
6) My sister got married in June and my brother is getting married in May 2012. Yay!
